You are my world gorgeous boy by Jess Mackenzie

Heya!

Today I have another CSI layout to share with you :) This is for case file 99.

Here is my layout:

I have used a gorgeous heart fabric button & some twine:
To get the twine to be all lovely and loopy and stay on my page I dip my fingers in gel medium then run along the twine. I then lay it on my page & loop it where I want it & voila! nice loopy twine thats stays where you want it too!

Thanks so much for checking out the Purple Pumpkin blog!

Love and Peace xox

Up high by Judith Armstrong

Good morning Purple Pumpkin fans. This month I've been playing along with CSI and this is a layout I created for one of their challenges. The photo is of one of my adopted cats Smidge. We often see him sitting up on top of our lattice screen. He started doing it as it thought he could get closer to the birds but without luck.
I created a background using some texture paste and a stencil. Then I washed over it with some watercolour paints to create a subtle blue and green background. I also painted some clouds through another stencil using watercolour paints and then gesso to subdue them a bit.
I handwrote my journalling and added some words in bright orange motex.

Here are some close ups.
I have used a green yo you flower, and tucked in an orange fabric button under the flowers. I also used some orange twine to attach a little silver cat charm.

I used some pale blue lace that I got in a Purple Pumpkin goodie bag.

Finally, I added some wood veneer shapes. I added some butterfly wings to the cat to represent  Smidge's desire to fly.

Thanks for looking.

My nephews and niece make it very hard for me to take a lovely group photo together. *LOL*

The background was covered with an old crochet doiley, misted and embellished with some feathers and Purple Pumpkin fabric buttons. I also used some Purple Pumpkin washi tape at the bottom edge.

Cheers,

Prima ballerina - by Arnlaug Koppang

Hi everyone:-)

This fall my oldest daughter started taking ballet classes, and she loves it! She also loves scrapping and she especially loves the pages with lots of flowers and girly colors;-) When I got my last Purple Pumpkin parcel she tried to grab as much as she could from the goodies and proclaimed that she was of scrapping;-)
So this layout is full of girly colors and embellishments:-)

I started out layering lots of scraps and then I added some molding paste trough a stencil on top. I embellished my page with lots of different  flowers, brads and pearls and a few epoxy stickers.

I also, of course, managed to sneak in some Purple Pumpkin goodies:-) That ballerina button is just perfect, and I love the pink and white felt heart:-)

And finally a close-up of my little proud ballerina:-)

See you next time!

"the kite runner" - by Arnlaug Koppang

Hi everybody!

Winter is just around the corner here in Norway and I enjoy looking back at sunny days and keep the warm, sunny days alive:-)

This layout is about a day at the beach on holiday in Denmark. The wind was super strong and my daughter got to fly a kite for the very first time. She truly enjoyed it and you can see how happy and proud she is:-) My daugther loves pink, flowers and girlie things so she really loved this page.

On this page I used a lovely,  YoYo flower, a crochet doily, a pink fabric button and a ticket - all pink!

Hope you enjoyed my post:-)
